Creativity Coaching Clients

I believe everyone is creative…

Creativity, put simply, is finding an innovative solution to a problem.

It is part of our make-up as human beings that we all possess creativity. You might recognize it in your art, in how you re-organized your living room, in the way you interact with your child, or in the idea you came up with during your last staff meeting. It’s all around us, every day, whether or not we notice it.

Creativity coaching is about treating this part of us as a muscle. The more awareness and attention we give our creativity, the stronger it will become. Through coaching, we are given the tools to reconnect to this gift and reprogram our hardware, so-to-speak, so that we can set ourselves up for (sustainable!) success, and get out of our own way.

The truth is that the way we live creatively is often the way we live in general (perfectionists in the workplace often don’t know when to put the paintbrush down; those who regularly struggle with negative self-talk or inner-editor often can’t connect with the joy in their writing…). Creativity coaching is designed to help navigate our habits and mentality in a way that moves us out of our way and into our purpose and authenticity.

I work with a wide array of clients, ranging from folks who identify as an “artist”, to those who are curious about their creative propensity, to individuals looking for creative solutions to their obstacles.

Coaching sessions will employ tools to help with common creative blocks such as fear, resistance, perfectionism, procrastination, comparison, overwhelm, negative self-talk, avoidance, bad habits, shame, expectation, self-sabotage, doubt, a lack of joy or motivation, and, often, a combination of these things.

If you are looking for a shift, for clarity, for guidance, for confidence, or for steps to move closer to what’s calling out to you, let’s talk. We start with a very low-stakes, no-cost, quick phone call so you can sense out if coaching feels like a good fit for you.

“Erin helped me go deeper to rediscover my creative voice, and to help me identify and shake loose some bad habits and ‘stuck thinking.’ I recommend working with her to anyone wanting to get in touch with their creativity.”
