This 90-minute online workshop is for writers, storytellers, and narrative artists who feel the tug toward creative expression yet find themselves halting at the blank page or shrinking from the thought of sharing work in public. We’ll look at creative block through a trauma-informed, neuroscience-based lens, understanding it as a nervous system response to vulnerability, not a failure of will.
Together, we’ll explore the core states of Safety, Mobilization, and Shutdown, and how they shape our ability to take creative risks. You’ll learn gentle somatic practices to ease perfectionism, soften impostor syndrome, and reopen access to your voice. A short writing exercise will let you notice the shift for yourself, and you’ll leave with a simple toolkit to support both writing and stepping into visibility.

"Mariana helped me learn, without judgment or comparison, that I need support as a creator and how to take steps to get it. She helped me break decades of crippling perfectionism and doubt with simple, clear action. Without her, I’d still be struggling to get my first word down on paper instead of getting my first book published.” M.Corvo
"Mari, your calm, gentle demeanor made me feel safe and nurtured, which is no small thing for me! I was able to work through anxiety I’ve been holding, so I am grateful! Your session flowed clearly and I felt your instructions were clear and supportive. " N. Gregory
