How does the Enneagram relate to creativity? And how can it fuel our creative process? In this series, we’ll use the Enneagram, a wisdom tradition that has long been employed as a tool for deep personal growth, to engage with and transform our creative practice.
Our sessions together will include a teaching portion, lively discussion time, and prompts and activities to get you exploring how the Enneagram can feed your creativity. Each week will be themed, and you can join us at any time – for one session or the full series.

Unlock the power of the Gut Triad to fuel bold, authentic creativity. This month, we’ll center on the Gut Center of Intelligence – the instinctual drive that fuels unflinching, decisive action and grounded presence – and how it informs every stage of creative production.
We'll explore:
- The Gut Types (8, 9, 1): how each type channels energy, boundaries, and momentum into creative work
- Gut Center principles in practice: how instinctual force, quick discernment, and grounded action can accelerate processes from ideation to finished piece
- Practical, gut-centric techniques, including rapid-fire concept sprints to test and refine ideas without overthinking, boundary-building exercises to foster and protect creative energy and sustain momentum, and embodied prompts to access more authentic expression -
Session themes include:
The Enneagram’s triads (gut, heart, and head)
How your core type impacts your creative practice
How to write from the perspective of another type
The Enneagram of Process and the creative journey
Conflict, desire, and transformation for each type
The Enneagram Instincts (Self-Preservation, Sexual, and Social) and their impact on your process and characters
Somatically-rooted creative practices to ignite your creative fire
Sessions are designed to be cross-discipline. Whether you are a writer, actor, director, artist, or simply seeking to integrate more creativity into your life, this course will provide you with a new tool for creative exploration designed to bring depth and joy to your artistic expression and output.
While some familiarity with the Enneagram is helpful, you do not need to know your type to benefit from sessions. I will provide supportive typing tools and resources along the way to ensure you get the most from each meeting.

TESTIMONIALS
If you are a writer and struggling with character development or inspiration--this workshop is a must have in your writer's toolbox. Ali's teaching style is engaging, fun, and thorough. She enthusiastically shares her insights and knowledge of the Enneagram with infectious passion. I learned an incredible amount in this workshop and my writing has improved. I have taken other Enneagram workshops for writers but this one excels over the others. I highly recommend . . . you won't be disappointed.

The way that Ali approaches a concept and sacred art with such care is wildly admirable and the way that she breaks it down to be easily digestible will transform countless lives.

Two things: Ali’s class is a delight and my characters are way more interesting now. Ali is a deeply knowledgeable Enneagram expert and translates the profile through conversation, art, poetry, and music. A multi-sensory immersion. As a result, the dynamics between my characters are more grounded, more clearly differentiated, and easier to write. Great investment.— Lauren P.
Ali has a deep knowledge of both the Enneagram and of writing. I love both of these arenas but hadn't thought to use the Enneagram in my writing until I took Ali's class. It was inspiring! Ideas and characters emerged easily. Ali used great prompts and made it a safe space in which to share our writing. I'm really glad I took this class.— Madeline R.
